As President and owner of Flagship Financial, Dean has committed his career to helping clients plan, invest, and protect the things that matter most to them. As a fiduciary, Dean not only prides himself on his knowledge of the industry, but also on creating a customized and educational experience where he provides ongoing support to clients while helping them understand, identify, and prioritize their financial goals.
Dean is an Investment Advisor Representative, Registered Representative, and since 2022 has been a member of the Diamond Level Circle of Excellence with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC. Prior to joining Cetera Advisor Networks, he was with Voya Financial as a premier partner, member of the Chairman’s Circle, Presidents Club and active member of their Retirement Readiness Program, which assisted group retirement plan participants. Dean was also an investment director for Park Avenue Securities/Guardian Life Insurance, where he oversaw nine offices and was a member of their Leaders Club. Dean holds his FINRA Series 7, 65, and 63 securities registrations and is also a licensed Life, Accident, and Health Insurance producer. Dean is an alumnus of Ursinus College, where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics. He is also a graduate of the American College in Bryn Mawr, where he obtained his Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Certified Social Security Claiming Specialist (CSSCS) designations.
Dean has previously served as the President, Membership Chair, and Secretary of the Tri-County National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). NAIFA is an organization for financial and insurance industry professionals that focuses on advocacy, service, and education. NAIFA members, in every Congressional district and every state house, subscribe to a strong Code of Ethics and represent a full spectrum of practice specialties to promote financial security for all Americans.
Currently, Dean is an active board member for Pope John Paul II, and has served on several committees within the school. Because of his strong belief in the importance of education, Dean and Flagship Financial also award several scholarships locally to both high school and college students, providing them with financial assistance to continue their education. He is an active member of the Perkiomen Valley, Spring-Ford, and Tri-County Area Chambers of Commerce and has also supported many charitable foundations, personally and professionally.
Residing in Berks County with his family, Dean has coached and continues to volunteer in the local youth sports community. He has a passion for giving back to his community through volunteer efforts, including assisting with the theatre department of his local school district in construction of stage sets for performances. Dean is a firm believer that youth sports and activities are instrumental in teaching invaluable lessons to children that will ultimately help to foster good habits and work ethic in their future endeavors. In his leisure, Dean also enjoys the outdoors and spending quality time with his friends and family.
